Hey, I’m Maik from Hamburg. I’m in my mid-thirties and have been active online since 2006. I might have joined the early Web 2.0 wave a bit late, but the idea of publishing my own content, connecting with others, and sharing knowledge has fascinated me from the start and still does today.
I run my own home server, have a soft spot for technology and prefer Unix-based systems like macOS or Linux over Windows. I also appreciate thoughtful, well-crafted design that blends form and function seamlessly.
Professionally, I lead an Open Source Program Office, where I work to ensure that open-source software is used securely, sustainably, and with enthusiasm. I help people grow, take responsibility, and play to their strengths, always with the bigger picture in mind.
