Ruins of a Gothic cathedral
The photo shows the remnants of a Gothic cathedral wall. Stone walls with arched windows dominate the image. Fine architectural details characterize the structure. Through the tall and narrow windows, the view opens to the sky. The open sky enhances the historical grandeur of the place. The shot captures the connection between stone and light and makes the dimensions of the former cathedral visible.
