PlexDBRepair

I’ve been using Plex for several years, initially on a Mac mini and more recently running it in a Docker container. Every so often a problem with the database crops up. Until now I had to search forums for fixes to repair a corrupted database. Recently the issue reappeared, and someone has simplified the repair process with an automated script. The script is available at »ChuckPa/PlexDBRepair«. The procedure is straightforward: clone the repository, run ./DBRepair.sh, choose the option 1 to stop the Plex Media Server, and then select 2 for the automatic repair. The whole process takes only a few minutes and requires no further input, except at the end to choose option 7 to restart the Plex Media Server. ...
