Wie ich fast ein finnisches Wort erfunden habe → In den letzten Tagen ging hier in Deutschland die schöne Vokabel “kalsarikännit” viral – meist übersetzt mit “sich allein in Unterhosen zuhause betrinken”. Naja – ganz exakt ist die Übersetzung nicht. An sich ist “kalsarikännit” nichts anderes als eine Komposition (yhdyssana) aus kalsarit (Unterwäsche) und “kännit”, was nichts anderes heißt als “betrinken”. Wörtlich übersetzt heißt es also eigentlich “in Unterhose betrinken”. Da Wörter aber oft mehr Hintergrund haben, gilt das dabei allein sein als gesetzt. ...
